Forms, Phonecalls, and Deadlines

Hey Colorado Team & Parents!

We are only 9 days away from departing for our trip, and we couldn’t be more excited! God has continued to bless and show his amazing power and presence in the planning of this trip, and we can’t wait to see it all come together when we begin our trip.

Despite the challenging weather and storms we’ve had the past few days, we have done our best to contact you through phone, messages, or email regarding any scholarship funding you may have requested, outstanding forms you still need to turn in, or address any questions you have. If you have not received a message from us, please contact the church office. We’ll help you out the best we can.

As a reminder, any outstanding cost that is still unpaid must be paid in full by Sunday, June 26. Any outstanding forms are also due on Sunday. All of the forms have been posted online, please download and print whatever forms you need (click here to download and print). Again, if you need an update on how much you owe or what forms are not turned in, please contact the church office during regular business hours.

We can’t wait for this trip to start! Get ready for an incredible adventure and life changing trip!

Rock Climbing & Rappelling

One of the events we will be taking part in while we are in Colorado is the chance to go rock climbing and rappelling. We’re going to have an exciting chance to climb up different rock formations and mountainsides and see the beauty of the landscape and surrounding area once we get to the top.

We’ve been able to work out a great arrangement with Front Range Climbing Co. and they will have their ropes and gear all set up for us in one of their permanent climbing locations. This will be a great experience to challenge yourself, stretch your abilities, and grow in some team building and trust of one another.

Colorado Student/Parent Meeting Recap

Thanks to all of you who made it out to our student/parent meeting yesterday afternoon! It was great to meet many of you and to share more about the trip this is coming up. We hope it was helpful and informative to give you a better understanding of the trip and details involved.

If you weren’t able to attend, the forms that were passed out and required for the trip have been posted under the “Trips Forms and Downloads” page. There will be one additional form that will be required for our rock climbing and rappelling activity we will be doing, and that will be posted later this week. Please fill out all these forms completely and return to Eric as soon as possible. Note that the scholarship application form is due no later than this Sunday, June 19.

More information and details will be posted here on the website as we get closer to the trip. Keep checking back, or subscribe to updates via email (upper right corner box on our main trip page), so you’re kept in the loop!

Colorado Student & Parent Meeting

Just a reminder that our student & parent meeting is TODAY, June 12 from 4:30-6pm in the Oasis room at Grace Bible Church.

You are strongly urged to attend to hear about many details and plans for the trip – including what forms are needed, financial status of the trip, and other important logistics and information related to the trip. If you have questions, this is the time to also get them answered.

Colorado Garage Sale

Our next Colorado Fundraiser is almost here!

We will be hosting a community Garage Sale on:

Come, shop, and find a bargain!

If you would like to donate any items for the sale, please arrange pick up/drop off with Pastor Eric or drop them off at our sale location between Thursday evening, June 9 and Friday night, June 10. We will use all proceeds for our Colorado trip, and donate all unpurchased items to a local mission or Goodwill. No donations too small! Questions? Please contact Pastor Eric!

Student/Parent Meeting Is Coming

Colorado Car Wash!

Come and get your dirty car, truck, van, or RV cleaned by someone in Oasis, the high school ministry of Grace Bible Church.

This Saturday, June 4 from 9-3pm in the GBC parking lot, we will be washing cars to help us raise money for our upcoming trip to Colorado in July.

There’s no cost to have your vehicle washed, but we’ll be accepting donations. These donations will help us raise financial support for us and our friends to attend our Colorado trip. Any and all donations are welcome.

Share the word with your friends and neighbors so they can get their car washed too.

Welcome to our Colorado trip! I’m really excited about our upcoming trip to Colorado in July, and am looking forward to spending the week in Fraser/Winter Park!

This site will be dedicated to providing you with all the necessary updates, information, tools, and forms you need as we prepare for the trip.

In addition, this will also be a place where your parents and friends can read updates while we are on the trip. We will update this site regularly so parents and friends can hear and be a part of the Colorado experience with us!
