Thank you for considering being a part of our Colorado 2011 Prayer Team.

We desire to make prayer a foundation for this trip, as we believe spiritual transformation happens, in part, due to the prayers of others.

Would you commit yourself to being a prayer partner for our trip?

We invite you to pray for our students and leaders using the following Scriptures as a model for your prayers:

  • Pray for salvation, for those who don’t know him.

“Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.” Romans 10:1

  • Pray for the students to gain spiritual insight, clear applications, and earnest expectation for Christ’s return.

“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,”  Ephesians 1:15-19

  • Pray for students to know of God’s great love for them and to help them truly know how much He loves them.

“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”  Ephesians 3:14-19

  • Pray for students to bear the fruit of love and good works that comes from truly knowing and trusting Christ.

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.  And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,”  Colossians 1:9-10

  • Pray for the adult leaders, that they would have the words to rightly and boldly proclaim the Gospel to the students.

“Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”  Ephesians 6:19-20
